Friday is different because it is Family Day. This is fun day and parents are encouraged to come for the whole afternoon. A picnic starts at 6:15 PM. We usually eat together on the picnic tables. You can bring your own food or buy a meal and drink there. The meal is used as a fundraising event for the Firecrafters (a Boy Scout organization). We will get an estimated head count for the meal during the week. There is a closing ceremony starting at 7:35 PM put on by the Firecrafters. All parents pick up their scouts from Camp Belzer on Friday.

If you are not using the carpool to or from Camp Belzer, or you need to miss a day, or someone gets sick, please communicate. If you miss the carpool or need to arrive at the camp late, you can just meet the group at Camp Belzer.

Leaders and Adult Volunteers

Thank-you again for everyone who stepped up to volunteer to be a leader or carpool.

Tag A-Longs

The camp allows Leaders and Adult Volunteers to bring their other children to the camp (but not unrelated children as in babysitting). If the child is planning on doing the crafts then there will be a charge of $5 for the day. If not, they can just come and enjoy. Regardless, the are not allowed to do archery, rafting, or BB guns. We will also need to turn in a health form for them as well because they are not covered under BSA insurance.

Medications

These should be in original containers and not held by the child unless required for immediate medical needs.

Family Camping on Friday

If you choose to camp overnight on Friday the fee is $7 per person. It is now open up to other family members. There will be a form handed out during the week that should be turned in by Thursday.

Daily Activities

The following is a list of things the kids will do at camp:

Swimming, rafting, BB gun shooting, Archery, Games, Cooking, Handicrafts, Campfires, Adventure Trails, Ropes Course, working on advancements, and enjoying Nature.
